I absolutely love summit, for 27 years I was a smile with your mouth closed type of gal, missing a couple teeth genetically in the front of my mouth, Dr Metcalf and the wonderful staff at summit gave me my confidence back, and a smile I've never had before now, I am forever grateful!!!

The staff did their best to make me comfortable during the 3 hour procedure. By evening the numbness had warn off and other than a mildly sore jaw I was chewing like normal. The two crowns fit my bite perfectly. A day later I felt like the procedure had never happened.

If you’re looking for a dentist and/or orthodontist, look no further. No, seriously. Summit Dental is the bees knees. I had been going to the same dentist for 30 years, but when we moved a few years ago, I couldn’t justify the time and gas spent driving there and back. I finally made the difficult decision to find a new office, which, as many know, is not for the faint-hearted. I had seen various advertisements for Summit Dental, and since it was in my insurance network, I decided to give it a try--and I'm glad I did. Since transitioning to this office, I have had regular cleanings, treatments for a few cavities and crowns (Friendly PSA: be good to your teeth when you’re a kid, or else it'll bite you in the rear later), and most recently…braces! They do it all and with such efficiency. Scheduling is easy, consults are thorough, pricing is reasonable, the staff are professional and friendly, AND you can text the office with your questions or concerns at any time--day or night (!!). For example, I broke one of my brackets last Friday night at 8 PM and the wire was causing me significant pain. I decided to text about the incident, assuming I would hear back until Monday morning. Not only did I hear back from a staff member within a few minutes that night, Dr. Metcalf (the orthodontist) also touched base and was able to meet me at the office first thing Saturday morning to fix the wire. Talk about service! I am so beyond grateful to both the dental and orthodontic staff and cannot say enough good things about them. Thank you, all!

Where to even begin!! I had gotten into a bad skateboard accident in 2016 that pushed my two front teeth in making my smile crooked. I also had an open bite and a reverse smile that made it had to chew and gave me a slight lisp in my speech. I also had bad discoloration on my front teeth. I was in the market for veneers and a friend had referred me to Summit Dental and Ortho. I live in San Diego but I was committed to traveling to make sure I got the best, most quality veneers. Dr. Scott and his team are seriously the most friendly, trust worthy people I have ever met. I was able to show them exactly how I wanted my veneers to look and also got amazing recommendations from doctor Scott. It was so cool to be able to design my own smile. The process was a breeze and absolutely painless. I got veneers for my four front teeth and it has been life changing. Dr. Scott seriously replicated exactly what I showed him I wanted. I absolutely love smiling and showing off my new pearly whites! My new teeth fit my face so much better and I feel as though this is how I was always supposed to look! I can now chew through foods as I don't have an open bite, and my teeth are straight and so white! This process has given me a new found confidence and I will forever be grateful for Summit Dental for helping me get here!!
